Land and Sea Logistics
We possess a high level understanding of the land and sea logistics required to move bulk cargo from mine gate to the buyer’s designated destination.
We have provided supervisory services to clients ensuring the smooth loading/discharging of their cargoes – requiring liaison with Trucking, Stevedoring, Ship surveyors and ship agency companies.
Hall Shipping and Consulting has been responsible for and assisted clients with budget, cost control, and invoicing of voyages.
Evaluating New Business
We have a long history of assisting new mining companies to develop new import and export opportunities, including:
- Assisting with writing the shipping section of the pre-feasibility and definitive feasibility studies.
- Helping develop and write sales contracts either alone or in conjunction with lawyers.

Obtaining AMSA Approvals For Clients
We have assisted with obtaining AMSA approvals for clients who ship Group A cargoes (cargoes that may liquify) under the International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargo (IMSBC).
This involves writing a Moisture Management plan to outline to AMSA how mining companies are keeping moisture out of their cargo production flows.
Ability to negotiate freight contracts on behalf of clients
Hall Shipping and Consulting offers high quality management of freight portfolios, transporting a variety of full, part cargo and breakbulk cargo to varying worldwide destinations.
